This commercial KILLS me everytime....

Get ready to cry!!

Andy and I stopped by the Adopt-A-Pet center yesterday and it just about killed us...they had a puppy that if I had gotten there about 10 minutes earlier...she would have been coming home with me. Luckily, she was adopted and I got to talk to her new owners. Then they had a boxer AND a 2 year old German Shepherd. I wanted to take them all home.

I look like Posh Spice...

but I feel absolutely fabulous!! Not because of a new haircut...but for the REASON for my haircut. I cut 12 inches of my long hair off for Kids for Wigs. This is a non-profit organization that is purely based on donations...and distributes FREE wigs for children battling cancer and terminal illnesses. I had been pondering on this for quite some time and finally decided it was time for me to make the cut and do one of the MOST selfless things I had ever done in my life at this point. Let me tell you...I have NEVER had my hair this short in all my life. I will admit I cried...but I cried for the reason I cut my hair. I have been praying about this and knew if I was ever going to cut my hair off...it had to be for a reason...not for vanity.

So now it's cut in an adorable short "bob" cut...just call me Posh. I will try to get pics up from my day of transformation...inside and out!!

Jibber Jabber

Is Graham Case getting married??? If so, I had no idea...so Graham best wishes and I am so happy for you!!

Tomorrow is my birthday!!! Holy Cow I am 24!!

I haven't updated in a while due to the fact that we have been out of town and have indeed been busy. I just love my hubby for many many reasons but above anything...he makes me laugh and is so supportive. I have decided to run my first 5k marathon later this summer. Why? I need another thing to do. I have always pondered on doing it for quite some time and finally made the decision to do it. I've been taking my time since my right leg is weird and have to wear a band around my knee for stability. No...its not because I am near midget stature (No Jokes, Gentry). My hip got knocked out of place and it makes my knee pop and and have extra stress. I went to therapy for it a few years back because of my running....and I don't plan on going back. Nike commercials are great inspirations (and yes, they are the best shoes and athletic wear) to keep you motivated...so don't be surprised if I start talking a like a linebacker. Any advice or comments are appreciated...I was very proud of myself last week since I am almost up to 2 miles straight. I just keep saying to myself take it slow and take "baby steps." Now all I need is Bill Murray as a trainer to keep me focused.
