Love is in the Air

I had the best Valentine's Day. I made a fabulous dinner (chicken caesar salad pizza, fruit medley, chocolate dipped strawberries...and then I bought chocolate cake). The gift exchange was wonderful. I gave the boy some things for his new house. He will be moving in the next week so it is very exciting. Unfortunately, we had to take back my gift from him because they wrapped up the wrong gift. YIKES! While walking through the mall I hear my name being called. I turn around to see our very own Kyle Marler walking up...who is getting married...and will be a dad. Whoa! Big congrats to him!!

What the heck do you get a guy for Valentine's Day?? I mean really...

Latest news, I was told by a listener that I shouldn't be so liberal...

I have no idea how in the world I came off "liberal" by saying the Anna Nicole story on the news was interesting...

Just for the record, I hate male ego and all of its supposed glory. Especially ignorant men who call and think it is in their right to talk to a female radio personality in any fashion they so desire. And I also love their accusations.

I'm so confused...

This Anna Nicole story is absolutely crazy.

Weekend

This weekend promises to be fun. The Superbowl with Peyton, a sort of promotion with the station (I'm getting more time on air and being put on more primetime slots...VERY EXCITED!!) and the boy and I are celebrating six months together. I am expecting synchronized "awwws" at this moment. I think I have broken him in with my Michael Jackson "Beat It" dance.

The boy (thats what I refer to him now) are going to pick out appliances for his freshly built house which has come along beautifully. I have to say I am very proud of him and his accomplishment with the house. It is fantastic. He is moving further away but its not too far for the usual visits.

I'm trying to think of anything else exciting...umm....my mom traded in for a sweet CL 500 mercedes coupe. This car is ridiculous. When did they start putting in AIR condition and a massage systems in car seats?

You know what makes me mad??

NO, it's not feeling like a complete idiot when it comes to common sense spelling. It's when we are told "Oh WE ARE GETTING SNOW...WATCH OUT!!" I have been anticipating snow for the past 24 hours and it just spits a few flakes. Wow...way to go global warming...and other...weather factors.
This just bums me out...and I have to go into work at the boutique today.

Right now, I feel like there are slow motion montages of me looking outside with a tear rolling down my face, me yelling at the weather channel, me stomping on my sled, me kicking through the dust of snow and trying to make pitiful snow angels, my head covered with my pillow...with that "So you had a bad day" song is playing.
